formalities drive to Zangmu.

crossing two passes Nyalam
(3800m) and Lalungla (5050m)
with excellent views
(weather permitting) of the
lofty Himalayan peaks
including Mt. Everest.

Day 3 : Drive from
Tingri to Xigatse (3900m/8
hrs) crossing two passes
Lhakpala (5200m) and Tsuola
(4500m). Overnight at
Xigatse Hotel.
Day 4 : Sightseeing

Monastery and Xigatse
Market. Afternoon drive to
Gyantse (3950m/3 hrs).
Sightseeing tour of Phalkor
Monastery, Kumbum Stupa and

Day 5 : Drive Gyantse
to Lhasa (3650m/8 hours)
